More Animal Neighbors

Yesterday we were working outside and cleaning the garage. At one point I looked up at the lot next door and here came a Gila monster slowly walking across toward the cactus garden. This is the first one we have seen. We were told one had been in our utility trench but we missed it. This morning I was using the binoculars to look at some saguro blossoms when I noticed movement behind it. After watching for a while I determined there were three deer (I guess white tailed) grazing along the banks of the wash across the street. Very hard to see them even when I was looking right at them. Earlier in the week, coming home at night we surprised a skunk in the middle of the road. He put his tail up but either didn't spray or missed the car(thank goodness!!). The list of neighbors continues to grow!!
