Welcome to my site. I will be Chronicling the construction of our new home. Here is a brief history of my experiance in this area. I moved every few years as a child. As an adult I stayed in one house for 25 years, but helped remodel it four times. From a minor bath redo to adding an entire second story to the house. Now my husband and I have moved to AZ to care for my elderly parents and are undertaking to be the owner/builders of a custom home. Some people don't like change but I guess I'm not one of them. Or perhaps it is just limited change I like. To my husband's current dismay I helped build a 4000 square foot house in Romania in 2001. We took it from slab to fully furnished in 11 days. I therefore have meager patience for the pace of building here in Arizona.

Dear AZ Gal, I am contacting you here about he Hush-A-Bye Sleep Sack because you did not leave me an email address when you left a comment and I could not find one on your profile. (Did you realize that you are a "no comment blogger" and can fix this in your profile page?) I'm hoping that I can help you, but since I don't have one of the sacks here at my house to look at, I'm going from memory...The little tails of the zipper will be loose and extend beyond the notch. If your zipper is longer or shorter etc. you may not be clipping exactly at the notch. After the zipper is sewn in, you will clip right at the end where the zipper teeth end, not at the very end of the cloth zipper part. This will allow you to sew right up to that point when you sew the seam around the end of the sleeper. You do not want a gap or there will be little hole at the end of the zipper. I hope this makes sense! I also made a note on my pattern to use a zipper foot, but I'm betting that you already knew that! I also would sugggest interfacing in the top tabs if you are not using batting in that part. This is an adorable pattern and once you've made the first one, the next will be a breeze! Hope it works out for you!
Blessings,
Carla
