Summer Has Arrived

I hear that much of the country is experiancing weather according to the calendar, in other words, it is still winter. A few weeks ago there was an article in the news saying that Arizona was going to be seeing higher than normal temperatures as early as March. It turns out that was correct. We have been in the 80's for a week now and no end in sight. The flowers and trees are blooming, the cacti have new pads and flower buds, the rabbits are out in force, we've seen the first bats(and gotten bit by the bugs they should be eating!!). We actually got in our new spa today-it is only heated by solar so we thought we might not be using it for another few weeks, but not so, today's water felt great. The back yard is done, though there is still more decorative rock to haul for areas outside the walls.
